FundEasy
NEW: Introducing FundEasy.com! This amazing web application allows non-profit organizations to take their walks and other sponsorship events online, and gives each participant their very own fundraising website.
Customize your own fundraising page with photos or a video, set your own fundraising goal and watch the money roll in with an animated goal thermometer. Add a personal message to your page and share with the world via Facebook, Twitter, and other popular social media applications.
FundEasy is an addition to Ministry Sync, a web-based event management web application for non-profits. Scott Ruth works full time at Ministry Sync and produced the a fun design for the application while developming most of the interactive user interface. Check it out!
12 Cities | 12 Conversations
NEW: 12 Cities | 12 Conversations is part of the Lausanne movement, and they are traveling across the US to begin a discussion with some of the church's best thinkers and leaders to inspire all Christ followers to respond to global concerns in today's fast-changing world.
The conversations will culminate in October when delegates from the American church join 4,000 other leaders from 200 countries in Cape Town, South Africa, for the Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization to address the global challenges facing the church and our mission.
Scottyman Media! developed and published this blog to carry the conversations at a central hub online. The blog is built on the powerful Wordpress platform. It includes video posts, a Twitter feed and a sharp modern design.
ZhuZhuInfo.com
Most people have heard of last year's hottest Christmas toy for kids, the Zhu Zhu Pets, well Scottyman Media decided to jump in the middle of the action! This toy's explosive popularity leads us to believe that it will see much success in the year(s) to come, long beyond the 2009 Christmas frenzy.
We used the powerful blogging platform Wordpress to develop a fully functional website and news blog, complete with an online Amazon store embedded. This site is called ZhuZhuInfo.com. Although we've submitted the url to the major search engines, it still takes time for them to index new sites; so a lot of effort was put into the handy "sharing" tools that allow people to forward the site to a friend or post articles on major web servies.

George Beukema Therapy
When it was time to start his own therapy practice, George Beukema needed help establishing a solid business. He was looking for a website, logo, and accompanying business cards and letterhead�the whole package. Scottyman Media worked with Gurry Design to deliver just what George needed.
Just a copule short days after George's website launched he began to receive very positive feedback; his favorite quote being: "[The website] is so professional and yet so personal. And it is so informative yet not too overwhelming with information.
I just love it."
Nippon Magnetics, USA
Nippon Magnetics manfuctures industrial magnetics producs in Japan and is expanding is supply to the US and European markets. Scottyman Media!, Crane Consulting and Gurry Design collaborated to design the new english website for NMU.
While the design is complete, the website is still in development and is expected to launch later this year.
The Kitchen Professor
Joshua Katt is The Kitchen Professor. He's a talented young cook in Chicago who offers personal culinary training as well as catering services.
When he started the business he sought help from Scottyman Media! to develop the company logo, brand identity, and website design pictured here. Scottyman Media! also built the entire website using XHTML, CSS and FLASH.
In Pursuit! Ministries
In Pursuit! Ministries provides biblical chaplains to law enforcement, fire, EMS and military across the nation.
The original site was built on Wordpress, which is a nice choice of CMS, but not all themes are created equal. The site really needed an upgrade, so Scottyman Media! created a fresh design and rebuilt the site on a theme that was beter suited to the functional needs of the owner.
CSS Button Maker
In the past, Scottyman Media has utilized JavaScript to enhance the user experience of websites, but only until now have we produced a full-fledged JavaScript application! The CSS Button Maker is a free application online that allows anyone to design cool-looking web buttons easily.
The application targets beginner to expert level web designers and developers who could benefit from some custom web creations made by his time-saving tool. Customize your button with a simple form, and the CSS Button Maker generates custom HTML and CSS for you. All you have to do is copy and paste the code into your own website, and you're done!

As mentioned above, the Kitchen Professor is a talented young cook in Chicago who offers personal culinary training as well as catering services.
This logo captures his personality. The design contains all of the important elements of his brand: personal, trendy, culinary and educational.
Vicki Wolkins Photography
As mentioned above, Vicki Wolkins is a talented photographer in Chicago. She was Scott's first logo design client. This was the logo Vicki decided on. The logo is not currently in use. See early drafts.
KDM Machine
KDM Machine manufactures machine parts. The company is only a couple years old and decided they needed a logo. After presenting several options, and making some revisions, this was the final logo chosen to represent the company.
Chicago Office Auctioneers
Chicago Office Auctioneers is a business that does not exist. It was a business idea that never fully developed. The logo was designed for fun.

You are here. Scottyman Media! represents the creative services of Scott Ruth, a graphic designer and web-site developer. This logo is somewhat of a caricature of Scott and embodies his style of lighthearted professionalism.
Breakthrough Behind the Scenes
Breakthrough Urban Ministries hosts a monthly tour of their facilities to acquaint donors and volunteers with their mission and vision. These tours are called Breakthrough Behind the Scenes.
This logo was designed to brand these events as a stand alone activity under the Breakthrough umbrella. It is often paired with a "backstage pass" graphic to communicate the nature of the event.
Ministry Management Coaching
Ministry Management Coaching represents the Christian ministry management and development consultation services of Richard Epps, EdD.
Scottyman Media! produced this logo as well as a business card design for Richard. The logo shows a top-down view of a pyramid that opens at the top; this shape represents a physical model that is used to summarize Richard's management principles. It was important to incorporate this foundational concept into the design of the logo.
BUILD (Various Versions)
BUILD stands for Breakthrough Urban Institute of Leadership Development, a 10-week course developed by Breakthrough Urban Ministries to educate adults on issues of race, poverty and urban mission.
The logo design has not been finalized, but the early drafts can be seen here.

Home of the greatest kids on earth! I created this ad to promote the orphanage on our family website. The banner was designed to match the official Lily website.

We support two children through Compassion international. This ad was designed to match the official website, and promote the organization from our family website.
Caris Pregnancy Clinics
Caris is a crisis pregnancy clinic for women in the Chicagoland area. This banner ad was designed to match their website branding, and used to promote the ministry from our family website.
Breakthrough Urban Ministries
Scott has worked full-time at Breakthrough Urban Ministries for 3 years, and he designed this ad to promote the ministry from our family website.
Breakthrough - Women's Medical
Breakthrough Urban Ministries partners with Circle Family Care to provide medical services to homeless adults. This banner ad was designed to increase online donation for medical services.
Breakthrough - Annual Benefit 2007
Breakthrough hosts an Annual Benefit Dinner every year in the fall. This ad matches the design theme of the 2007 event. The banner features the guest speaker, Dr. Tony Evans, and was used to drive traffic from Breakthrough's home page to the event page.
Breakthrough - Annual Benefit 2008
This year, Breakthrough's Annual Benefit Dinner is scheduled for Friday, November 7. This banner ad features the guest speaker, Erwin McManus, and links to the benefit web page that can be seen here.
Breakthrough - Thanksgiving 2007
Breakthrough provides supportive housing to homeless adults. This ad was designed to increase online giving during the Thanksgiving season in 2007.
